This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use, and protect your information when you visit ashifcodes.tech and its subdomains (including roastroom.ashifcodes.tech).

Contact Form

When you use the contact form on my portfolio, I collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This data is processed through Formspree and is not stored on my servers.

Donations

When you make a donation, I collect your name and email address for the donation record, along with the donation amount, the project you donated to, and your IP address (for rate limiting and fraud prevention). Payment information (card details, UPI, etc.) is handled entirely by Razorpay and is never stored on my systems.

RoastRoom

On roastroom.ashifcodes.tech, anonymous roasts and room data are collected. No personally identifiable information is linked to your roasts.

Analytics & Ads

RoastRoom uses Google AdSense, which may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized ads. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Account settings.

2. How I Use Your Information

  • To respond to your contact form inquiries
  • To process donations and maintain donation records
  • To maintain and improve the portfolio and RoastRoom
  • To display relevant advertisements on RoastRoom (via Google AdSense)

3. Third-Party Services

Your data may be processed by these third-party services:

  • Formspree — Contact form handling (Privacy Policy)
  • Razorpay — Donation payment processing (Privacy Policy)
  • Google AdSense — Advertising on RoastRoom (Privacy Policy)
  • Netlify / Render — Hosting and deployment

4. Cookies

This portfolio does not use cookies. However, RoastRoom (roastroom.ashifcodes.tech) uses Google AdSense, which may set cookies for ad personalization and analytics purposes.

5. Data Security

I implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree and not retained on my servers
  • Donation records are retained for financial record-keeping and support purposes
  • RoastRoom data is retained as long as the service is active
